of a cell into homogeneous simple truncated O-glycans with GalNAc O/(Tn antigen)
and/or NeuAcα2-6GalNAc
(STn antigen) structures. This is achieved by knockout of either the core-extending glycosyltransferase (T-synthase)
or its essential chaperone (cosmc)
